Working for Team Support

Team Support's Culture

At Team Support our employees are rewarded on the merit of their contribution to our company as a whole. We are a sales company and naturally our employees have targets to meet, but we also recognise the value of personal qualities such as loyalty, honesty, hard work, commitment and team work in building a happy, productive and successful working environment.

Team Support is an entrepreneurial company and we always welcome applications from people who have drive, energy and ambition for success. We want to help you fulfil your career ambitions.

In 2009 Team Support became a national organisation with a branch network operating from the South of England up to Scotland, and we are still growing! So if you are interested in working for us please send us your CV, because you never know when a new opportunity will open up.

Team Support Careers

Investing in Employees

In order for you to succeed, we know that we need to provide you with the right support, guidance and training to help you fulfil your potential. The training we provide our employees is designed and delivered by ‘hands on’ recruitment professionals with practical working knowledge of our business.

All new employees begin their career with Team Support with a three day induction program at our training centre in London. This gives you an opportunity to learn more about our company and culture, our working practices, industry and of course your work colleagues.

Training must be relevant to the needs of the person as well as the needs of the business and the personal professional development of our staff is a high priority at Team Support.

Career Opportunities

Team Support offers a variety of different career opportunities working with different industry sectors and in different parts of the country. Dependant on your experience you could begin your career with us at Recruitment Consultant level, or Branch Manager Level.

Recruitment Consultants

Recruitment Consultants are the engine of any recruitment company: they are responsible for developing client relationships, building a reliable workforce of candidates and identifying which candidates best match the client’s needs. So with two separate customer groups to keep happy, good social and organisational skills are vital!

The role of a recruitment consultant varies across specific branches and industry sectors but there is always a strong focus on business development. In addition to providing excellent customer service to your clients and candidates, the majority of your time will be dedicated to growing your client base through telesales and face to face meetings.

Branch Management

The role of a Branch Manager with Team Support is as diverse as it is challenging and, for the right person, is greatly rewarding.

As a Branch Manager with Team Support you will be responsible for the day to day management of every aspect of the branch, such as:
  • Setting and monitoring performance targets for your sales team. This means making sure targets are agreed in collaboration and that they are SMART.

  • Coaching and mentoring your team. You must know how best to help a member of your team that cannot make their targets as well as how to keep encouraging those you are doing well.

  • Hands on delivery of day to day service. This includes winning new business, registering candidates, maintaining client relationships, dealing with payroll queries etc.
Ultimately, Team Support Branch Managers are accountable for every aspect of their branch’s performance: we are not looking for supervisors, we need business leaders!
